Open Mobile Map

We put the NAVIGON Mobile Navigator to the test and here’s what we found. This review follows our first-look at the app a couple weeks ago. Mobile Navigator is a competent turn-by-turn GPS solution that does some things very well, others not so well. Note that this review is of version 1.0, and late last night NAVIGON released version 1.1. I haven’t evaluated this update yet, but from the description it doesn’t seem to affect this review. Specifically version 1.1 does not add text to speech. I’ll do a follow-up, when that feature is added. I’ve been getting a lot of questions on our GPS app reviews. Which is the best, which I like, which you should buy. Here is an overview of the four apps that IGM has reviewed. Apps included are TomTom, Navigon, G-Map, and AT&T. Things are broken down into categories and I pick which I like for each category, then followed by a brief overview.
