Wikitude Drive - the World’s First AR Navigation for Smartphones
Wikitude Drive is the world’s first mobile navigation app using fun and intuitive Augmented Reality to guide the driver along a line drawn onto reality. Wikitude Drive has two great advantages: 1. No need to read maps - just follow a line. 2. See the live video of what’s ahead of you and therefore never take your eyes off the road again. Use it in car or pedestrian mode. Wikitude Drive won international Awards including den “Global Champion Award” of the Navteq Challenge 2010 and the “Galileo Award” at the European Satellite Navigation Competition 2010. Download Wikitude Drive from the Android Market now!!!

@FilmFunTv and the nitro
This will backfire in a way as people will get lazy and stop looking at the road. The “real-time” is still a few milliseconds behind. In that time, a crash on the freeway could happen.
lolol LG GT-540!! That phone is such a piece of shit, I have it, the battery lasts like 10 minutes and only has like 75mb of internal memory.
Does the HTC Desire HD still not support this app?
It’s been ages.
Wouldn’t want to strap it on my windshield!
Someones camera is gonna freeze up, and they are gonna get into an accident and will sue wikitude for damages.
Blaupunkt has a similar nav system for a while now.
that screen is constantly filming. I can only imagine the battery consumption. Like if GPS battery consumption wasn’t enough already…

@FilmFunTv Would be fun if they actually included some kind of NFS skin for it
@Gunde try out to drive watching just the screen…
@pczaban Because it uses your phones camera. So when you look at the phone what you see is the same as if you look out the window.
@djrock9000 not even your idea tard …
you can get EXACTLY that @ every BMW for like 8k bucks
Nevermind, found it it is only available for Austria, Germany and Switzerland at the moment and they are doing beta testing for the US.
Why can’t we download it right NOW? It’s no longer available on the Android markert…
@djrock9000 i think volkswagen has been working on this for 5 years
