Review of iceTECH Solar Chargers for cell phone, PDA, iPhone, mp3 player, GPS, etc.. ( i101 & i9005)

You can use “SOLAR i9005″ battery either to power up your devices under the sunshine directly, or you can also use it to charge up your devices by using “SOLAR i9005″ as Portable and rechargeable Li-Ion battery. “SOLAR i9005″ is a convenient tool to have with you on a business trip, while traveling, during the fieldwork, etc. It is a portable, environment-friendly, lightweight, flexible, durable and versatile product. Solar charger i9005 series from iceTECH (patent pending for the intelligent voltage adjustment system), is capable of voltage and current output on different pre-set levels. It can charge 99% of mobile phones or USB interface digital products (MP3/MP4 players, etc..) which operation voltage is between 4.5V-9V.

You buy one of these chargers and let it charge by solar or by AC. When it fully charges (or while charging) you plug your MP3 into it using the cable that comes with it. It will take a few hours when the light will indicate your player is charged. It usually is red when charging and green when charged.

Nevermind, I found out that you can use a USB port to charge your media devices.

What voltage setting does the Ipod 5th Generation use? I’m assuming 9V since the accepted input power range is 5V.

Can it charge a a bluetooth headset that only requires 3V?

Great review, note that if you decide to redo your review, include the part about USB port on the device. It will prevent compatibility questions as most mp3 players have a USB dock connector.

Is this compatible with Sony mp3 players? The Sony players have a 20 pin USB cable
