NAVIGON MobileNavigator for iPhone 1.6.0 with iOS4 Multitasking

Compatible with iOS 4, NAVIGON MobileNavigator for iPhone update 1.6.0 includes the much anticipated multitasking compatibility, which provides continuous navigation and turn-by-turn directions while running other applications simultaneously. Users can, for example, take a call without sacrificing navigation. In addition to the iOS 4 integration, update 1.6.0 delivers the following new features: Live Weather, Clever Parking, updated NAVTEQ maps, Destination Information Display, Pedestrian Mode Voice Guidance and Enhanced Reality View™ Pro.

@TECpeds94 One time. It’s just the price of the app. And I believe you receive map updates etc

    Two questions:

    1. Which window bracket did you use?

    2. Why does version 1.6.0 keep asking me for my iTunes Store password whenever I open it?

@JRGUE32 Yup, I can see that. If you have multi-tasking with iOS 4 you can return to the map view pretty easily, but you do have to do it yourself.
More than anything, I would like to be able to change the voice. I can’t stand her accent - Long Island? not sure…

@deirnoel Thx for the reply. Yep I can see that. However, I would like the map to still be up and running. I know it would take up some real estate but its doable. Also, when I take the call I dont want the voice navigation in the background if i decide to take the call. It should be set as a preference.

@JRGUE32 it looks like at around 2:35, he shows that you can take a call (or ignore it) and still see the map and hear directions. Thanks

Hey guys. I love the app. Here is my suggestion. While I get a new call. I would like the map to still be up. (Give me the option to ignore/answer call with in the map) Also, If I take the call give me the option to turn off the voice navigation…. In a future release I would like this to be compatible with bluetooth or speaker headset so this can all be done hands free. Thanks!!!
