Google Maps on Nokia N900

the mobile site of Google Maps looks like a good solution until Google decides to release a native app for Maemo and the Nokia N900. Posted on thenokiablog.com

    @downtownskipper I doubt you can call its entire community a fool. I doubt you can call most of the apps useless since they work pretty damn well, compared to thousands of fart apps….. and one brilliant game? what are you a five year old but for the sake of argument it has thousands of classic games thanks to emulators. am guessing that’s an isolated case with the camera.

    @Mi5t4k3
    Well thts good then! =)

    Nokia even stopped support for Linux OS, Memo! A big shock for those who bought it when it was new, investing huge sum!
    Nokia must be sued for that!

    @Mi5t4k3
    Haha
    i think u r still waiting!!
    with only around 200 application, most of them useless, and not even one brilliant game around, bad music player(no equiliser), bad camera (type N-900 video stutering on youtube) and bad battery life(u dunt have to type anything for tht), only a fool would invest in N-900

    no am not an Apple fan either. !

    @Mi5t4k3 DO YOU STILL LOVE IT? AFTER NOKIA STOPPED
    SUPPORT FOR IT LIKE 5 OR SIX MONTHS LATER!!
    WITH NO WORD OF AN UPDATE FOR THE NEW OS,
    AND THE FACT THAT OVISTORE COMPLETELY SUCKED!! AND STILL DOES!!!
    WITH ONLY ABOUT TWO GOOD GAMES ON THERE. AND WITH THE PROMISE OF GAMES LIKE ROLLER COASTER, NEVER COMING OUT
    EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS SUCH A HIGH DEMAND FOR GAMES AND FRESH APPS AT THE BEGINING OF THE N900 LAUNCH!!
    I COULD NEVER TRUST NOKIA AGAIN. HTC IP
    AND THE APPS WHICH FELT CHEAP AND USELESS!!

    @Mi5t4k3 8 months later, would u say there has been a bang as far as apps and stuffs are concerned?

    the n900 should not be compared to smart phones. The n900 is pretty much a micro netbook that makes cell and voip calls.

    My N900 doesn’t have a manipulation mode. How do I enable this manipulation mode?

    @Mi5t4k3 Well that sucks. I was actually going to buy this phone this weekend or something, but I think I’ll look around for similar phones and stuff. Thanks for the reply.

    @xlegionsx sadly the future didn’t look so good for the n900 so I don’t have it anymore. Nokia is to focused on their other phones to fully support the n900.
