Screen on the Nexus S looks so much better than on the HD7. Nexus S has much better color and sharpness. Although I am not hating the OS on the HD7. Windows Pone 7 looks and functions much better than the previous Windows Phone versions.

I don’t know whats the name of this guy who is testing the two devices but the speed comparison is completely unserious.
At fist windows phone is not slower, its the animation (which looks awesome) what takes some milliseconds longer than on the nexusS.
Second thing this guy has not tested was pinch to zoom and scrolling.
If you compage zooming and scrolling then WP7 is far better.

ok you said the nexus can be used as a wifi hotspot if I heard correctly. does that mean if I have an iPod touch I can get wifi on there from the nexus s phone where ever I’m at?

@manny375 It’s one of the Live wallpapers, it’s called “Galaxy” You can find it by hitting the menu key -> wallpaper>live wallpaper-> and you should see it as one of the options on an android phone.

I have nearly ever phone on the market, (check out my videos). I read in the comments about the batter of the HD7 and the Nexus S. I have both of these, and I can tell you. The HD7’s battery last longer, hands down.

I am a power user, so I’m always on my phone. The NS does not do 720, the HD7 does. I could go on and on, but none the less….bottom line, its up to the user. WP7 is still new, and will need some time to grow. But when it does, oh my goodness. for now, Android is the winner for all OS’s out right now.

@projektrocker One other thing, I have issues with the speaker grill on top of the HD7 when speaking on the phone. It hurts your ear as it is basically sharp with no soft support and can “cut” into your ear when pressed upon it while using the phone. Lets say you use your shoulder to hold the device to your ear, you will feel it grinding on your skin. Ultimately if you hold the phone onto your ear with minimal pressure, it’s not a big deal, but I found it to be a little annoying at times.

@projektrocker However on the same token, Android’s multi tasking is pretty good, it works and works well imo. Can’t fault winmo7 quite yet, because I’m not going to jump on the OS being lackluster right out the gate. It’s quite good & is pretty refined for a v1. It’s just that since there are options out there that are more defined as a whole, people may not have patience with the extremely fast mobile tech industry. The decision is yours to make, you will be happy either way.

@projektrocker In terms of OS, Windows Phone 7 is still basically in beta version, although they have promised an update in January that will fix some issues and add HTML 5 support as well as solving some of the rendering issues currently in IE. In regards to the browser experience, it is quite good on the HD7. The phone as a whole is buttery smooth, but lacks legitimate multi tasking. For example, if you’re playing a game and get a call, you will be reset when you go back to the app.

@projektrocker In terms of screens, they are both running on 800×480 resolutions, however Super Amoled is a better screen in terms of color saturation. However you will notice that Samoled also seems somewhat oversaturated at times, which gives it an awkward blue hue when looking at certain colors like whites. The HD7’s screen is nothing to boast about, it is essentially the same as the HD2 and lacks in fluidity and is hard to look at in certain angles. Also blacks look awkward. Hope that helps

@projektrocker The battery on the HD7 may be sub par but it is no better on the NS. In fact, the Galaxy S line as a whole has arguably the worst battery consumption in the market imo. If you’re looking for a device that is bone stock out of the gate and customizeable to your liking in every way, shape or form, then Android is for you. Both of these devices lack HSPA+ (”4G”) banding, which is a bummer, but it may not be a deal breaker as it isn’t active in most places…(cont)
