    @axlrotten1985 no you don’t: if you buy ANY android phone this is simply an app that can be downloaded off the market. trust me, if navigation is the deciding factor, you might want to go with something cheaper, or wait a little longer for some of the cooler phones set to be unveiled at this year’s CES on January 6

    @AnderdroidApps this is just what I heard but… these new DC processors actually are better on battery then these old ones. Plus CPU performance is pretty crucial especially with more complex tasks we give these super phones. Personally I’m not too hyped about anything motorla or whoever comes out with a new Tegra2 device, I’m sure they will be impressive specs but I am stoked on the Orion processor… that will devastate anything for the next while

    The Streetview thing is great, works even fine on my 2.1 LG GT540.
    Thank you Google! :D

    The nexus s is so sad. This phone is already outdated when you really think about it. Wow it has 2.3. 2.3 is a sad update! this nexus s is just like every other phone out there. They needed to go dual core and a smoking hot gpu. They dropped the ball on this one and its sad to say! this phone isnt even “4g” or hspa+ ready, i mean come on what are u doing google? this is a nexus one with a front facing camera, cheap plastic construction, and 2.3 which is a tweaked ui version of 2.2!

    @viper306m How about your perception of the “almighty nVidia” fails. The Hummingbird has a better GPU than that dual core “thing”. You’ll get very little performance increase from a Tegra2 sorry br0z! And that’ll only be a CPU increase, games will run better on the Hummingbird LOL!

    And why would you want a non-removeable battery?

    @hvutrong @hvutrong I might just do that, it’s beyond frustrating :( . But seriously. Google must take care of its customers around the globe, I don’t know the reason for why the Google Navigation serves is not supported in our part of the world, but I really hope that Google will address this issue in the future. Google Navigation looks awesome in this video and I feel sad that I, along with many other customers in the region don’t get any taste of it at all .

    you guys have no idea how bad this is going to fail, you failed with the nexus 1 and this is going to be the same thing, you guys are failing here how about a dual core phone with a nvidia grapics chipset? Not a non removable battery, no expandable memory, no hd video recording, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??????????//

    @ksc6000

    Haha. Yea man. You forgot to mention it’s shorter battery life! Not as much memory, when the music on my SD card is 18GB by itself!
    I love my Nexus One, and will be keeping it.
    I wonder if HTC would have gone the same route if they were contracted for this job.

    Hopefully the ball gets passed back to them for the Nexus 3 (M?), or Samsung cuts the shit, and not downgrade, instead of upgrade a SUCCESSOR to a great phone

    Battery life & memory are huge for me in a phone.
