Mobile navigation provider Nav N Go and leading French directory publisher PagesJaunes have formed a partnership. This cooperation enables Nav N Go to offer its partners and users PagesJaunes services, including its database comprising over 5.3 million businesses.

“On the Mobile Web PagesJaunes already receives over 2.5 million visits per month”, explained Valérie Schwartz, Director of Mobile Services at PagesJaunes. “By joining forces with a major player such as Nav N Go, we are responding to this growing need by enabling consumers and businesses to access PagesJaunes services even more quickly and easily when they are on the move. This cooperation strengthens PagesJaunes’ aim to become a leader in the field of mobile information.”

This cooperation is an extension of the existing relationship between Nav N Go and the PagesJaunes Group. French mapping portal Mappy, also part of the Group, has been using Nav N Go’s navigation software since 2006 in various ranges of Personal Navigation Devices.

Mio has been also using PagesJaunes local search in its Bluetooth connected PNDs; however, in its latest release Google Local Search was front and center even if PagesJaunes was still available.
