True.. me and my friends say mom.. teachers used to say ‘mum’ which was weird… and some people I have met in different parts of UK say ‘mam’. I dont really see it as a problem.

If I were deaf I wouldn’t know she’s British. The phone says “mom” but the voiceover says “mum”. It’s obviously an overdubbed American advert but isn’t it slightly insulting that they expect everyone to accept US cultural references instead of mocking up something with British place names?

The app doesn’t cost you anything but your mobile internet will if you don’t have an internet access package. Web and Walk etc.

Been using it last few days, its a novel idea and will be more useful as more people use it.
